Behind the message
A quotation isn't booked. The costs are.
Nothing reaches the ledger until the quotation becomes an invoice. Costs you put on a project are booked like any expense, and tagged to the job.
Villa 12's cost goes up by AED 2,200; the VAT is recovered, not counted as a cost.

Questions
Does a quotation count towards my VAT?
No. A quotation is an offer, not a supply. VAT is only due once it's invoiced.
What happens when the customer agrees?
You mark the quotation accepted and turn it into a tax invoice in one step, with the same lines and prices.
Can one bill cover two projects?
Record it as two expenses, one for each project, so each job carries its own share.
Do I need the Business plan for projects?
No. Projects work on every plan. Quotations need Business or Pro.
